Posted on 10th December 2020

It’s been a long and difficult year, so no-one could begrudge the teams at our nine partner sites from taking a well-earned break over the festive period. We’ll be updating this page with The Malt Whisky Trail’s sites’ Christmas and New Year Opening times as we get them.

Correct as of 14th December 2020

Glen Grant Distillery – The distillery is still shut to visitors, however the shop is open Monday to Saturday 10am – 3pm. The team hopes to be able to start running tours again from mid-January, however visitors are encouraged to check the website for up to date information.

Glenfiddich Distillery – The distillery will be open Wednesday – Sunday 10am – 4pm until 23rd December 2020, and 2nd and 3rd January 2021. On 24th December 2020 it will be open 10am – 1.30pm (tours at 10am and 11am, last orders for food 12.45pm), and closed 25th December – 1st January, and 4th – 5th January 2021. The distiller will reopen Wednesday – Sunday from 6th January.

The Glenlivet Distillery – The distillery is currently operating winter hours, with tasting experiences and the shop Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 3pm until 28th February 2021. The site will be closed for business between 25th December 2020 and 4th January 2021 (reopening 5th January).
